Lemon cake recipe review
introduction <3
This lemon cake is not my recipe, but I did make some adjustments, so I'll share that with you as well as the recipe and my review. I make this cake a lot and it's always a treat, so I hope you love it as much as me and my families guests do.

Adjustments:
Over all, this recipe is very delightful, pretty straight forward and always tastes good! But I usually edit recipes to my liking, so here's what I do. I add a splash of vanilla in my wet mixture, I add a whole lemon zested, typically because I like to just finish the lemon, and it mostly depends on the size of the lemon itself. I also make my own glaze, and that's a mixture of lemon juice and powder sugar. Not only that, but I tried to double the recipe once but frequently with cakes you need to make two and not one thick one, so I highly recommend making two or else it's a waste of time. And also I forgot lol it says cane sugar just use normal white sugar no need to get fancy with the organic healthy sugar if you want to go ahead, but sugar is sugar it's not going to change anything.
My Review:
I'm going to be real with you, I don't eat this cake when I make it, but I have tried it, and it's good it is a textured cake so it does not taste like a typical everyday cake. And this cake has been made in my house at least 6 or 7 times… hahaha (my brother said that as I wrote this, so I had to say it) it's more like 10 or 15, and that's because, it's dairy free and gluten-free if you make my glaze. I also shared this recipe with many, and it just gives more options to people who have these diet changes. There's some people in my family who are under these categories. Shout out to my Aunt Kelly because she loves this cake. <3 And I hope you all enjoy it too. And please comment your thoughts if you tried this cake.
